Exciting opportunity for a Product Strategy, Technology and Business leader within the hotel, resort, hospitality, tourism or vacation ownership space to work with our client’s team to transform how technology impacts their external customers, the customer experience and their internal business partners and teams.

This is a hybrid opportunity. Candidate must be located in Central Florida or be open to relocation. This Vice President of Product Strategy is responsible for leading the technical product strategy for the global organization. The VP will work closely with senior executives, cross-functional teams, including business operational teams, technical product management, and Technical Services, to develop, communicate product strategies and priorities that align with the organization’s overall goals and objectives.  The VP will outline the technical product vision and strategy and oversee the delivery of roadmaps for the portfolio of technical products at the organization and be responsible for executing quality deliverables on time and on budget while driving efficiencies. This role requires excellent communication with internal clients as well as vendors. There will be a key focus on Process documentation in this role as well.
  • Conduct business and market research and analysis to identify customer needs and trends, competitive landscape, and product gaps
  • Develop a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities and improvement recommendations
  • Define the product portfolio roadmap that is aligned with the organization’s strategy and long-term business goals
  • Build High Level Business requirements and business cases to support initiatives
  • Socialize the product strategy, and ensure a common understanding among internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product goals and objectives, and communicate a roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic vision
  • Develop and communicate product positioning, value proposition, and messaging to internal and external stakeholders
  • Report key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of product initiatives and make data-driven decisions.  Measure performance and contribution to business goals and strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers to gather feedback and insights
  • Sponsor cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and features, from ideation to launch
  •  Work with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales enablement materials
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance, including sales and usage metrics, to monitor product health and make maintain/refresh/retirement recommendations and decisions   
  • Recommend product investment decision making
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for product innovation
  • Define epics, features and user stories in collaboration with product operations and engineering and ensure requirements are aligned to the organization’s product roadmap and priorities
  • Lead customer advisory boards and prioritization across business teams
  • Lead team of product strategists and analysts 
Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of agile product development methodologies
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new trends and technologies
  • Ability to facilitate difficult discussions, prioritization of competing interests, managing both strategic and tactical interests
  • Ability to surface, prioritize and balance multiple stakeholder priorities
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast- paced, dynamic environment
  • Expertise in strategic thinking and strong business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing
  • Education BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree required, MS/MA/Master's Degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience required, 15+ preferred
  • 5+ of leadership experience, 8+ preferred
  • Director level experience required, Executive preferred
