$150k+ based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with and counsel other departments in matters related to trust activity
- Position provides immediate supervision for the Trust Department.
- Position delegates and assigns projects as needed.
- Problem solve to address internal department operational inquiries.
- Coordinate conversions and acquisitions with Accounting Department.
- Research appropriate state statutes for changes in law
- Manage and train department staff.
- Manage internal and external audit inquiry and audit follow up.
- Coordinate new account setup and system maintenance.
- Create and enforce policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with trusting statutes in states of operation.
- Research and resolve trust report errors.
- Develop operational reports.
- Manage relationships with trustees, state agencies, and vendors to establish policies to make sure departmental objectives.
- BS Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or other related area.
- 5-7 years of experience in Accounting, plus 2-3 years of experience in Management.
- Ability to delegate and supervise subordinates.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Familiarity with corporate trust regulations.
- Ability to train and monitor performance of subordinates.
- Ability to handle performance and employee relations issues.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent customer service skills.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
