Position Overview
TEWS is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technology Recruiter Intern to join our Technology Division. This is a paid internship designed for individuals interested in learning the fundamentals of technical recruiting, talent sourcing, and client delivery in a fast-paced staffing environment.
This role offers hands-on experience working alongside experienced recruiters and account managers, with exposure to real client requirements and candidate interactions.
Responsibilities
- Assist recruiters with sourcing candidates for technical roles (e.g., Software Developers, Business Analysts, IT Support, Data/BI, Infrastructure)
- Use job boards, LinkedIn, and internal ATS (Bullhorn) to identify and engage talent
- Screen resumes and support initial candidate outreach
- Coordinate interviews and maintain candidate communication
- Help update and maintain applicant tracking system records
- Learn how to qualify candidates based on technical and cultural fit
- Support recruiting team with administrative and operational tasks
- Participate in team meetings, training, and shadowing opportunities
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college/university program (Business, HR, Communications, or Technology-related fields preferred)
- Strong interest in recruiting, HR, sales, or the technology industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, and learning new systems
- Must reside in the Greater Orlando, FL area
