Job Description

IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
TEWS has an immediate need for a Hrlp Desk Technician. We are looking for someone with hands on support. Excellent customer service skills requireed. 
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a collaborative IT Service Desk team environment.
  • Experience working with Microsoft core products and services including Windows 10/11, Office 365, SharePoint, Active Directory, Group Policies, etc. 
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and equipment connectivity to services (DHCP, DNS, etc.).
  • Experience working with the setup, configuration, and provisioning of technical office equipment such as Workstations, Laptops, Tablets, Printers, and other peripherals.

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Experience working with Office 365 User Administration.
  • Experience working with an IT Support Ticketing System (Jira Service Management preferred)
  • Experience supporting users working remotely (home office).

Required Soft Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills including communication of technical concepts to non-technical individuals. 
  • Ability to multi-task and work confidently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and follow up skills.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Certification(s) in at least one relevant domain (ex. MCDST, CompTIA A+, etc.) is desirable but not required.
