Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter)

Salary Range: $55,000 – $60,000
Location: Orlando, FL
In-Office First 90 Days | Hybrid Eligible After 90 Days (2 Remote Days/Week)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing recruiting team. This role is ideal for someone with approximately two years of recruiting experience who brings a strong work ethic, a team-first mindset, and a genuine desire to learn and grow.

We are not rushing this hire — we are intentionally seeking the right long-term fit. We are building a high-performing team and need someone committed to growing with us.

Experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is highly preferred, as this role will primarily support hiring for RBT positions. Candidates with a Human Services–related degree or background are also encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct and schedule phone screens

  • Manage assigned requisitions from intake to offer

  • Partner closely with hiring leaders to understand staffing needs

  • Post and refresh job openings

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews

  • Draft and extend offer letters

  • Ensure consistent follow-up and communication with candidates and hiring teams

Daily Focus

  • Maintain organization and accuracy across multiple active requisitions

  • Track candidate pipelines and ensure timely movement through stages

  • Ask thoughtful questions to clarify hiring needs and candidate fit

  • Provide a professional, polished candidate experience

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • Approximately 2 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience

  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional follow-up

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills (no text-speak, strong grammar required)

  • Ability to think critically, pause when needed, and ask the right questions

  • Team player with a proactive, go-getter mindset

Preferred

  • Former RBT experience

  • Degree or background in Human Services, Psychology, or related field

  • Experience recruiting in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services

Who Will Thrive Here

  • Someone looking for stability and long-term growth

  • A recruiter who is intentional and selective about candidate quality

  • A professional who understands that cultural fit and retention matter just as much as filling a seat

  • Someone who wants to be part of building a “rockstar” team — not just filling roles

We are mindful of today’s hiring market and are seeking a candidate who is genuinely aligned with this opportunity — not someone simply seeking a short-term landing spot.

Team Structure

  • Reports to: TA Supervisor

  • Team of five: 3 TA Specialists, 1 TA Coordinator, 1 TA Supervisor
