- Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Advise senior leadership on technology trends, potential risks, and new opportunities.
- Oversee the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Lead and mentor the IT department, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Manage IT staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Establish and manage departmental goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and reliable to support business operations.
- Manage cloud services, data centers, and hardware lifecycle management.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Approve major technology investments, including software purchases, upgrades, and infrastructure.
- Ensure the security of the organization’s IT systems, data, and intellectual property.
- Lead the development of cybersecurity strategies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA).
- Oversee disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies.
- Act as the primary liaison between the IT department and other departments within the organization.
- Collaborate with business units to identify technology solutions that improve
- productivity and efficiency.
- Communicate IT strategy, goals, and issues to the executive team and other
- stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging technology trends and assess their potential application
- within the organization.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives, ensuring the company remains competitive in
- the industry.
- Manage relationships with external technology vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- At least 10 years of experience in IT management or leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving successful IT strategies and managing large teams.
- Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems administration, cloud services, cybersecurity, and software development.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop talent.
- Ability to align technology strategy with business goals and lead digital transformation efforts.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience in handling large-
- scale IT projects.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
- explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges, evaluate solutions, and make strategic
- decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with industry-specific technologies and regulatory requirements.
- Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, ITIL, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Full-time position, with the possibility of occasional evening or weekend work based on
- project deadlines or emergencies.
- Travel will be required to meet with vendors, partners, or other office locations.
- This position plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization’s technology infrastructure remains robust, secure, and aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
