Job Description

TEWS is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst for a growing private equity backed organization based in central Florida. This is a full-time, permanent role with an established, growing company with a great work environment and reputation. 

Qualified applicants will have:
  • Extensive Business Analysis experience (gathering requirements, artifacts, etc.)
  • Experience working with Stakeholders to gather requirements
  • SQL experience 
  • Heavy Data/Analytics experience 
  • Reporting experience
  • Systems experience
The Senior Business Analyst will facilitate assigned projects by serving as a liaison between stakeholders, setting and communicating goals, and evaluating and refining results. The actions of this position will have a direct effect on Company performance by improving processes and workflows.

Specific Duties & Tasks:
  • Collaborates with business staff to thoroughly understand the needs to be supported by the information systems and technology.
  • Determines how changes to the project will affect the business and systems.
  • Provides expertise in current-day Information Systems and make recommendations regarding applying these systems to business practices.
  • Responds to inquiries and provides advice to the stakeholders regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs.
  • Negotiates plans and timeframes, ensuring that stakeholders understand the anticipated result.
  • Develops and communicates detailed specifications for implementation.
  • Produces reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to management, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
  • Maintains and ensures proper documentation and coordinates or performs testing of system modifications.
  • Creates, develops, provides, or coordinates training, materials, and other educational tools.
  • Collaborates with the Project Manager, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure the needs of the Company have been met.
  • Researches and analyzes the nature, effect, and results of system difficulties.
  • Satisfies data sampling, project analysis, testing verification, and other user requests from existing stakeholders.
  • Acts as liaison with Information Technology and/or outside vendors to support relevant systems.
  • Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks.
  • Responsible for special projects as requested by management and other duties/ responsibilities as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

  • At least five to seven years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or related field required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software programs.
  • Proficiency with Power BI and SQL desired.
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems.
  • Ability to negotiate and settle differences quickly and peacefully.
  • Ability to act as a team player.
