Senior Accountant
Location: Orlando, FL
Salary: $85-$100k, depensing on experience
Position Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, sales tax filings, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Manage fixed asset activity, including additions and disposals.
- Prepare sales tax returns.
- Complete cash management activities, including cash sweeps.
- Prepare and distribute monthly revenue reports.
- Assist with month-end close and other accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 4+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with Sage preferred.
