Position Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant with experience in private equity or public accounting to join our expanding team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is proactive in problem-solving, and is eager to take on increasing responsibilities as our company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other financial regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, investor reporting, and quarterly reviews.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes with precision and efficiency.
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
• Work closely with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Continuously seek ways to improve processes, implement best practices, and enhance internal controls.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or progress toward certification is preferred.
• 3-7 years of experience in accounting, with a strong preference for candidates from private equity or public accounting backgrounds.
• Highly detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and go above and beyond to ensure excellence in financial reporting and compliance.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (experience with [specific software] is a plus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
