Our client is looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits.

This role is responsible for the administration, development and support of the organization’s Salesforce orgs as well as a variety of business applications while adhering to best practices, recommendations for processes, configuration, integration and application development, deployment and iterative refinements. The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Salesforce Administrator and Platform App Builder Certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year as a Salesforce administrator or working on the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, Eclipse, Force.com IDE).
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build processes, custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, triggers and other content of intermediate to advanced complexity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • High degree of initiative and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong ability to use initiative and work autonomously under tight business sensitive deadlines.
  • Advanced customer service skills dealing with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Superior Microsoft Office skills.
  • High degree of motivation, flexibility and creativity.
  • Able to use and interpret a wide range of secondary information sources.
  • Possess integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders.
  • Sound analytical skills with the ability to successfully troubleshoot and problem-solve with both internal and remote users.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer Salesforce on a day-to-day basis, including managing user accounts, profiles, permissions, page layouts, etc.
  • Develop reports, custom report types, dashboards and process to continuously monitor data quality and integrity.
  • Support business with specific troubleshooting and reporting requests.
  • Keep abreast of new features and functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements.
  • Prepare data files and upload the data into Salesforce.com using Apex Data Loader or other approved technologies.
  • Manage operational requests such as creating rules around workflow, validation, fields, advanced formulas, custom objects, flows, etc.
  • Work in and deploy from a sandbox environment to test all changes to business logic and help shepherd those changes into production.
  • Maintain proper documentation of processes, policies, application configurations and continual modifications and help related materials.
  • Participate in and serve as a resource for any Salesforce related projects.
  • Assist management with vetting, selecting and implementing new Salesforce related technology solutions
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users.
  • Log and tracking identified system problems through resolution.
  • Daily administration of a variety of business applications.
  • Support business with specific troubleshooting and reporting requests.
  • Provide in-depth research for specific and ad-hoc projects.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Salesforce Administrator and Platform App Builder Certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year as a Salesforce administrator or working on the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, Eclipse, Force.com IDE).
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build processes, custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, triggers and other content of intermediate to advanced complexity.
  • Familiarity with data bases or Microsoft SSRS a plus
  • Knowledge of SQL language.
