Here is an amazing opportunity to use your revenue cycle knowledge for an established pharmaceutical company. TEWS Company is looking for a Revenue Specialist to join a growing, nuclear pharmacy company in the Orlando area on a 11 week Contract. This person will be:
 

The Revenue Specialist is responsible for the auditing and evaluation of revenue transactions within the company to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual and government guidelines to ultimately drive world class service delivery.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and verify changes in information systems to support efficient invoicing processes and financial close. This includes documenting and verifying accuracy of records and ensuring that all established internal control conditions have been met.
  • Review reports relating to pricing and accounts receivable and research necessary information to ensure that customer accounts are properly priced and invoiced;
  • Document deficiencies and errors discovered and report findings to appropriate management; follow-up on actions taken regarding the documented findings to ensure all appropriate corrections are recorded;
  • Respond to inquiries, investigate with proper parties, and make recommendations for adjustments to accounts as required;
  • Interact with internal departments or pharmacies to resolve issues and discrepancies regarding customer pricing and accounts receivable; Enter all actions and required information into company systems and review actions taken with management;

 

Provide administrative support to Accounting department as required;

  • Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements; Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies;
  • Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates Degree in business or similar field preferred;
  • Four+ (4+) years experience in Revenue Cycles capacity required;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry strongly preferred;
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards and/or other ERP systems a plus;
  • Strong organizational skills along with effective time management skills;
  • Advanced analytical and data management skills


PAY RATE: $18 - $19
