Seeking A Project Accountant For Growing Company!

*Fully REMOTE with occasional travel to Ft. Lauderdale for training and meetings*

-Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

-$60K-$75K annually, entry-level candidates will be considered

The Project Accountant will provide comprehensive financial and administrative support to the Project Management Teams. This role is essential in managing project financials, processing expenses, payroll, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process employee expense reports and credit card statements
  • Serve as the main point of contact between Operations and Human Resources
  • Assist Project Administrators with recruitment tasks
  • Manage daily invoice processing
  • Oversee payroll for hourly and salaried employees on weekly and biweekly schedules
  • Ensure compliance with insurance requirements and maintain contractor documentation
  • Manage project financials, including tracking budgets and cost codes
  • Process contracts, change orders, lien releases, and subcontractor payment applications
  • Occasionally travel to job sites when needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of office experience in general contracting, construction management, engineering, or architecture
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and either Bluebeam Revu or Adobe Acrobat
  • Familiarity with construction financial management software (e.g., CMIC) is a plus
  • Experience with Timeclock Plus, Ebix, Corpay, Kofax, or Imagetrust preferred
  • Understanding of AIA documents and construction cost accounting principles
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on providing excellent support to field project teams
