TEWS is actively recruiting for a QA Analyst in Orlando. The role is responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs. Documents all problems and assists in their resolution. Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners. Performs quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed.

• Understanding of contemporary quality management principles and practices and the ability to apply them to a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced business environment
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
• Knowledge of functionality, compatibility, usability, and exploratory testing practices
• Ability to create and execute QA and testing processes on software applications

• Minimum 3 years of quality assurance experience, preferably testing web or desktop applications, or equivalent
• Experience with student information systems, learning management systems, or other education related applications
• Minimum 2 years of experience using database tools, such as Microsoft SQL Server, to assist in testing efforts
• Minimum 3 years of experience using test case management and defect tracking tools
• Minimum 1 year of experience using API testing tools, like Postman or SOAPUI, preferred
