Job Description

TEWS has an exciting Project Manager opportunity with a global client of ours here in Orlando. This is a REMOTE opportunity and will be working on an International Enterprise Implementation. This is a long term contract opportunity through the end of the year. 

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of enterprise technical projects and initiatives across the organization. This position will be responsible for identifying appropriate project resources, developing detailed project scopes and timelines, assist with budget creation and maintenance, and tracking, monitoring, and ensuring completion of all defined milestones and deliverables. The IT Project Manager will help gather requirements necessary for successful project completion.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Works with internal teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of project goals

  • Identify and gather appropriate project resources for necessary department representation

  • Prepare project schedules with project-specific limitations and/or constraints

  • Understand PMI principals and project tools to drive efficient milestone and deliverable closures

  • Participates in project due diligence, including but not limited to: software vetting and solution development to meet requirements

  • Evaluates and conducts project budget comparative analysis for leadership and executive reporting

  • Prepares project updates, dashboards, and presentations for leadership teams

  • Proactively anticipates risks and issues and ensures adequate mitigation plans are in place to prevent project delivery from being compromised

  • Develops high-level project plans and ensures project scope and approach are fully understood by all stakeholders and leadership

  • Ensures proper change management and control processes are consistently used to maintain control of scope, schedule, and budget

  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationship vital to the success of the project

  • Provides resource direction to ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks and decisions

  • Utilize and maintain all necessary project artifacts using the IT project management library

  • Conduct regularly scheduled status meetings to review current phase, completed activity, and immediate next steps

  • Conduct consistent communication to stakeholders and leadership, through all project lifecycle phases, any constraints, risks, and issues posed to projects

  • Conduct project post-mortems and lesson’s learned to create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
