Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician: Contract-to-Hire

Location: On site in Lakeland, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
 

At Tews Company, we are partnering with a healthcare client to hire Pharmacy Technicians to support high-volume prescription fulfillment operations. 

What You’ll Do

• Process and prepare prescription orders according to established procedures

• Verify patient, prescriber, and medication information prior to processing

• Review patient history and identify potential duplicate orders

• Support automated pharmacy systems and fulfillment equipment

• Perform quality assurance checks related to prescription processing and shipping

• Maintain accurate prescription logs, records, and documentation

• Follow up on outstanding prescriptions or authorizations and escalate discrepancies when needed

• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable pharmacy regulations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We’re Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license in good standing

• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience

• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and brand/generic medication names

Preferred

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) designation

• Experience in high-volume or automated pharmacy environments
