Seeking a Dedicated and Experienced Payroll Manager for a Christian Non-Profit Organization.
Location: Onsite, 8-5pm
Salary: $80K-$85K
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main contact for payroll with Paylocity.
- Handle payroll for 3,500+ employees.
- Ensure accurate wage payments and compliance with laws.
- Work with HR on deductions for taxes, garnishments, insurance, and 403(b) plans.
- Maintain and update employee tax records and statements.
- Review and approve payroll documents.
- Enter and reconcile payroll data.
- Address payroll discrepancies and process corrections.
- Supervise payroll staff, providing training and support.
- Develop and improve payroll processes and policies.
- Audit and manage employee data and garnishments.
- Prepare W2 and 1099 filings.
- Provide excellent customer service to staff and administrators.
- Handle manual check processing and payroll audits.
- Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports.
- Maintain confidentiality and organized payroll records.
- Promote a Christ-centered work environment and good communication.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
- 6-8 years experience in payroll management
- Certified Payroll Professional Certification from the American Payroll Association Preferred
- Experience with HRIS and proficient in payroll technology
- Knowledge of federal and state payroll laws
- Strong organizational and supervisory skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Suite
- Thorough understanding of Excel
