Job Description

TEWS has partnered with one of Florida's largest and most successful construction firms in the Central Florida area to find a loyal and reliable Payroll Specialist with a go-getter attitude to add to their team. Our partner has led development in Florida for nearly 100 years since the company’s founding in 1920. In that time, their many generations of employees have completed thousands of contracts, from large highways to small commercial site development. Their company’s history is one of continued evolution and growth.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm in office

$22/hour with some room for negotiation!

The Ideal Candidate:
  • 2-3 years of experience of payroll experience with basic accounting knowledge
  • Ability to review work for accuracy and neatness
  • Think independently and develop solutions to problems
  • Excellent computer skills including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word); SAP experience preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Essential Job Functions:
  • Process payrolls accurately and timely for weekly and semi payrolls and off cycle bonus payrolls
  • Ensure accuracy of all payroll information entered in the system
  • Input and release wage garnishments in payroll system
  • Verify and Input Direct Deposits in payroll system
  • Process employment verifications
  • Research and resolve employee payroll related issues
