Payroll & Benefits Manager (Paylocity Required)
Location: Winter Park, FL (Hybrid – Onsite 2 Days/Week)
Salary: $65,000-$80,000

We are seeking a high-energy, detail-driven Payroll & Benefits Manager to own and elevate our payroll and benefits operations across multiple states. Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management (Primary Focus)

Own and manage full-cycle, multi-state payroll for approximately 200 employees

Serve as the internal subject matter expert for Paylocity, with extensive knowledge of system configuration, reporting, integrations, audits, and backend functionality.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, bonuses, commissions, and adjustments.

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Reconcile payroll reports, resolve discrepancies, and manage year-end processes (W-2s, audits, tax filings).

Partner with Finance to ensure payroll accuracy, budgeting alignment, and reporting.
Benefits Administration

Oversee employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans.

Manage open enrollment, vendor relationships, and benefits communications.

Ensure accurate benefits deductions and system integrations.

Support employees with benefits questions and enrollment needs.
Employee Engagement & HR Support

Drive employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and internal events.

Serve as a trusted, approachable resource for employees regarding payroll, benefits, and HR-related matters.

Partner with HR leadership to enhance the employee experience.

Support onboarding and offboarding processes related to payroll and benefits.
Compliance & Reporting

Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.

Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.

Prepare and analyze payroll and benefits metrics for leadership.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (preferred).

5+ years of payroll and benefits administration experience.

Advanced, hands-on experience with Paylocity required, including backend configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, and system administration.

Proven experience managing multi-state payroll.

Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and employment laws.

Experience supporting employee engagement initiatives.
