Operations Regional Manager – Hybrid Needed for Growing Healthcare Company!

Location: NC, KY, SC, or TN | Pay: $115,000–$150,000 + Strong Bonus Structure

Our home medical equipment client is seeking an experienced Operations Regional Manager to lead and grow a multi-state region. This hybrid role requires frequent travel within NC, KY, SC, or TN and offers an exciting opportunity to shape operational strategy, mentor leadership, and drive business results.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and develop regional leadership to achieve business goals, grow revenue, and expand market share.

  • Travel regularly between sites to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and high performance.

  • Ensure clinical programs and standards are consistently maintained across all locations.

  • Drive operational efficiency, manage budgets, and maximize profitability while adhering to regulatory and contractual requirements.

  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, physicians, and other referral sources.

  • Monitor industry trends and implement strategies to improve performance and competitiveness.

  • Oversee continuing education initiatives for clinical staff to maintain licensure compliance.

  • Participate in audits, corrective action planning, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Must reside in NC, KY, SC, or TN.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in healthcare, DME, or home medical equipment operations; prior management experience required.

  • Strong understanding of P&L management, budgets, financial analysis, and third-party billing/contracts.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

  • Ability to travel up to 40% with frequent overnight stays.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Employment contingent on drug screening and background check.

  • Strong oral and written communication; ability to clearly convey expectations.

  • Effective multi-tasking, planning, and prioritization abilities.

  • Financial acumen, business judgment, and leadership presence.

Technology & Tools:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Familiarity with home medical equipment and related operational software.

  • Comfortable using standard office equipment (copiers, scanners, fax, etc.).
