Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medium to large-sized law firm, specifically within the Real Estate department.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage attorney calendars and client interactions professionally.
  • Self-starter with the capability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under pressure.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in drafting legal closing documents, including Warranty Deed, Bill of Sale, and Closing Affidavits.
  • Familiarity with electronic document recording (e.g., Simplifile) and handling title matters.
  • Background in government-related legal matters.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Prior experience with real estate closings will be highly regarded.

Other Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
  • Comfortable with both paper and electronic filing systems for legal documents.
  • Must be able to handle administrative tasks such as processing invoices and managing travel arrangements.
