You are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of human resource management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to navigate and access all departments within the organization's facilities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and recommend best practices.
- Manage staffing, coaching, and supervision of direct reports.
- Prepare, monitor, and report on the annual budget.
- Update and maintain the employee handbook.
- Prepare EEO-1 reports and manage EEO classification audits.
- Supervise unemployment procedures and filings as needed.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires.
- Cultivate external relationships with organizational leaders and act as a consistent HR resource.
