Senior Industrial & Engineering Recruiter
Houston, TX
Location: Houston, TX
Type: Full-Time Onsite, 10% Travel
Pay: $50-55/hour
We are seeking an experienced Senior Industrial & Engineering Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for highly skilled technical and operational talent across engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure, and corporate functions. In this role, you will partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to develop strategic hiring plans that support a fast-growing, innovation-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, technical requirements, and business objectives

Develop and execute recruitment strategies across engineering, operations, infrastructure, and corporate functions

Source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and industry events

Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate technical evaluations

Conduct behavioral and technical interviews to assess candidate fit

Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications throughout the process

Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and hiring teams

Provide market insights, salary benchmarking, and interview guidance to leadership

Manage full-cycle recruiting from job posting through onboarding

Support hiring managers in drafting and refining job descriptions

Maintain accurate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS)

Ensure compliance with employment regulations and internal hiring policies

Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs

Track recruiting metrics and provide regular reporting to leadership

Support additional hiring initiatives and HR projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum of 7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience

At least 4 years recruiting technical talent in fast-paced, engineering-driven environments

Proven success hiring engineers and technical professionals in competitive markets

Strong understanding of engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, controls, chemical, or similar)

Experience utilizing ATS platforms and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter and related platforms)

Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills

Ability to manage multiple requisitions and shifting priorities effectively

Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices
