Dynamic HR Manager needed for a growing organization in Central Florida.
Knowledge, skills and abilities needed to be successful in the role:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field
3+ years in a management-level role with at least 8 years of experience in an HR role.
An HR certification is preferred: PHR or SHRM-CP
Experience with payroll and benefits
Experience with an employee population of 250 to 400.
Strong knowledge of HR-related state and federal laws: FMLA, EEO, OSHA etc.
Experience with talent acquisition
Skilled with employee relations
Recent experience in the construction and or/manufacturing industry is preferred
Develop and administer human resources policy and procedures
Manage the activities and actions of the HR department
Create and revise job descriptions
Maintain and update the Employee Handbook
Perform benefits administration
Oversee recruitment efforts
Handle employee relations
Recommend new HR policies and procedures
Oversee the planning and execution of company events and gatherings.
This role reports to the CFO, and has 2 direct reports.
