HR Business Partner
Salary: Base $70K, plus 10% bonus per quarter
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, action-oriented HR Business Partner to join a rapidly growing organization experiencing significant expansion. With a current employee base of 130 and substantial projected growth—including plans to double in size over the next few years—this role offers a unique opportunity to build, optimize, and scale HR functions in a dynamic environment.
This position will play a critical role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, implementing HR technologies, and partnering with leadership to drive effective people strategies. The ideal candidate brings strong technical HR expertise, a consultative mindset, and the ambition to grow into a Manager or Director-level role.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training, development, performance management, and offboarding
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies, including sourcing, job postings, referral programs, and participation in career fairs and college outreach
- Design and deliver engaging onboarding experiences, including training materials such as presentations and videos
HR Operations & Systems
- Partner with an external PEO to support payroll, benefits coordination, expense review, and timekeeping systems
- Help activate, implement, and manage HR technology platforms, including an applicant tracking system, performance management tools, and compensation systems
- Maintain accurate HR data and ensure efficient, scalable processes
Performance & Compensation
- Support performance management processes, including quarterly reviews and development planning
- Optimize and administer the company’s bonus program
- Coach managers and employees on goal setting, feedback, and development plans
Employee Relations & Business Partnership
- Serve as a consultative partner to managers and employees on HR-related matters
- Address employee relations issues as needed
- Provide guidance while collaborating with external partners for specialized areas such as benefits
Project Management & Growth Initiatives
- Lead and support HR projects tied to company growth and operational scaling
- Travel to various business locations as needed (primarily local, with occasional broader travel)
- Build structured processes to support continued expansion, including new business lines and projects
Qualifications
- 4+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a high-growth environment
- Strong technical HR knowledge across recruiting, compensation, performance management, and employee relations
- Experience partnering with a PEO and supporting payroll, timekeeping, and HR operations
- Hands-on experience implementing or optimizing HR systems (ATS, performance management, compensation tools)
- Proven project management skills with the ability to prioritize, execute, and follow through
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain structured systems
- Consultative approach with the ability to coach managers and influence decision-making
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
