Position Overview: A Healthcare Membership Organization seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to join their small, dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and eager to take on various tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Policy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in a B2B e-commerce environment.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and self-motivation skills.
- High level of interpersonal skills with professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets with a sense of urgency.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
- Advanced Excel and strong technology skills.
- Valid Florida driver’s license.
- Perform general accounting and bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online.
- Assist the CEO and Vice President with various projects.
- Represent the organization with professionalism and integrity.
- Develop and implement efficient finance, accounting, and administrative processes.
- Maintain member relationships and provide support.
- Update website content using WordPress and Elementor.
- Create surveys, conduct research, and ensure project milestones are met.
- Support membership-driven projects and annual events.
- Manage staff calendars and organize online webinars.
- Track project progress, write formal reports, and draft surveys.
- Enter financial transactions and assist with pre-reconciliations and journal entries.
- Conduct weekly and monthly bookkeeping tasks.
- Offer suggestions for project direction and lead tasks.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in office software and managing online content.
- Experience with webinars and member support is a plus.
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST.
- Temp-to-perm position with growth potential.
- Fully remote with occasional travel; must be based in Florida.
