CONTRACT LENGTH: 6-8 months – potential to go permanent.

 

PAY RATE: $26 - $36

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (including education and certifications):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or similar field required; CPA certification preferred
  • 4+ years experience in financial analysis preferred;
  • Must be able to successfully pass company’s background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong organizational skills along with effective time management skills
  • Strong detail orientation and multi-task skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer focused; team oriented

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Financial Analyst is responsible to plan, manage and implement the budgeting process across multiple business units and functional areas, conduct special projects, forecasting and modeling and report on results, dealing with complex factors not easily evaluated, and making decisions based on conclusions for which there is little precedent.
 

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the Director Finance in developing Board of Director presentations to include data gathering, reporting and analysis
  • Preparation of corporate level projections and to support in decision making activities and DCF(Discounted Cash flow) analysis
  • Manage monthly and quarterly analysis and board deck preparation which includes comparison from the previous years/budget
  • Investigate and examine variables relating to the operation of pharmacy business units, product utilization and customer base and determine budgeting practices and procedures
  • Work with pharmacy managers to introduce budgeting and accounting procedure and to understand unique circumstances impacting budget process; Create individual business unit budgets to suit unique business requirements, and in compliance with GAAP standards. Develop budgets for individual functional areas and compile all budgets into overall corporate budget
  • Communicate budget compliance expectations to pharmacy managers and assist with explanations regarding budget variances
  • Conduct special projects involving proforma analyses, forecasting and modeling to project expected outcomes under varying conditions and prepare related reports reporting on results
  • Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements; Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies
  • Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines
  • Working capital management comparing with previous years and budget
  • Conduct special projects involving proforma analyses, forecasting and modeling to project expected outcomes under varying conditions and prepare related reports reporting on results
  • Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements; Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies
  • Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines
