Finance Manager Needed For Hospitality & Entertainment Company
Location: Frisco, TX
Compensation: $110K-$130K/year + other perks!
Schedule: Full-Time | Travel Required
An exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new resort experience designed for families with young children. This role blends hotel finance, operations, and systems support for a dynamic hospitality and entertainment environment.
We’re looking for a well-rounded finance professional who can wear many hats—from pre-opening financial planning and vendor setup to ongoing operational support, forecasting, and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role that collaborates across departments and supports IT system implementations. It’s ideal for someone who understands hotel accounting and has a knack for both analysis and execution.
What You’ll Do:
-
Lead financial planning and analysis for hotel operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting
-
Serve as the primary financial liaison during the hotel’s pre-opening phase, including gathering requirements for systems like keyless entry, cashless payments, and reservations
-
Develop, monitor, and analyze pre-opening budgets and operational cost tracking
-
Collaborate with IT and digital teams to align financial systems and data flow, ensuring compatibility and compliance with accounting standards
-
Review, prepare, and present month-end financial reporting packages, journal entries, and reconciliations
-
Partner with procurement and vendor teams to set up new vendors, manage invoicing, and ensure timely payments
-
Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial processes
-
Support ad hoc analysis and business case development for operational decision-making
-
Prepare and deliver financial presentations to executive stakeholders, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommendations
-
Contribute to system implementations and data integrity efforts, especially related to hotel-specific financial and operational platforms
-
Foster collaborative relationships across operations, HR, IT, and corporate finance teams
-
Be open to future leadership, with plans for this position to expand and manage a small team over time
What You Bring:
-
5+ years of finance experience; hospitality/hotel finance preferred
-
Strong understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits, SOPs, systems flow)
-
Experience working with IT/system implementations is a plus
-
Proficiency in Excel; Power BI a plus
-
Ability to build relationships and communicate financial insight across departments
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
