$150k-$160k + bonus opportunity

You are:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field and five (5) years of directly related work experience.
  • CPA required
  • Previous Big 4 experience required
  • Five (5) years of experience in finance management, public accounting management or consulting, to include at least five (5) years managing employees. 
  • Computer experience required with an emphasis on finance related IT systems management (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fund Accounting, Budget, Purchasing card, Cost Accounting, etc.), spreadsheet and/or database programs.
  • Ability to manage large projects and oversee leadership of cross-functional teams.

What you will do?
The Director, Technical and Ambulatory Accounting is responsible for managing large functional team(s) in the creation, execution and refinement of financial analyses, business processes, accounting, reporting, reimbursement and other finance and accounting related activities. 

Essential Job Functions:
  • Partner with executive leadership, providing financial support regularly.
  • Oversee complex financial functions for multiple ambulatory business units.
  • Ensure team supports business planning, accounting processes, financial reporting, decision support, cost accounting, and regulatory filing.
  • Specialize in strategic and financial planning.
  • Manage monthly close schedules and accounting entries, ensuring accuracy in contractual adjustments, third-party receivables, and payables.
  • Supervise monthly managed care and other payers' close schedules, including entries for allowances and reserves, to accurately state ambulatory patient accounts receivable.
  • Oversee the development and preparation of predictive models to assist management with the evaluation of changing regulatory and market forces.
