$110K-$140K + BONUS

You are:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Human Resources or similar field; Master’s Degree preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in management of Human Resources 
  • Multi-state experience, especially in California
  • Proven HR leadership experience at a company with 500+ employees
  • Available to travel as needed

What you will do?

The Director of Human Resources is responsible to plan, manage, implement and administer the full range of human resources systems and programs including employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, compliance, and performance management systems.


Essential Job Functions:
 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define HR strategy, policies, and goals; advise on compensation, benefits, performance, and organizational structure.
  • Monitor employee relations and morale; provide guidance to management on HR policies and employment matters.
  • Manage personnel documentation, legal investigations, workers' compensation, safety programs, and DOT compliance.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, job descriptions, and development of organizational charts.
  • Administer FMLA, workers' compensation, OSHA, and employee benefits; manage annual health insurance enrollment.
  • Design and implement training programs, performance management systems, and compliance with legal regulations (e.g., EEO, Affirmative Action).
  • Liaise with internal counsel on labor issues and maintain the employee handbook.
  • Supervise, hire, train, and develop HR staff.
  • Stay updated on HR trends; handle personnel actions and ensure positive employee relations.
