Seeking a Seasoned Controller to Lead and Mentor a Growing Orlando Team
$120K–$160K (Based on Experience) | Comprehensive Benefits Included
Location: Orlando, FL
Schedule: Fully Onsite | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

You’ll oversee all core accounting operations and play a key role in optimizing processes, driving compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Accounting Operations & Oversight

Direct the daily activities of AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger teams.

Own the month-end close process and ensure timely preparation of financial statements.

Deliver accurate internal reporting aligned with GAAP and internal policies.
Leadership & Team Development

Supervise, coach, and mentor accounting team members at all levels.

Promote professional growth through ongoing feedback, training, and performance reviews.

Foster a supportive and accountable team environment.
Compliance & Controls

Design and maintain internal controls to protect company assets and ensure audit readiness.

Develop and enforce accounting policies, offering training and guidance as needed.

Lead efforts around external audits, inventory procedures, and tax documentation.
Cash & Risk Management

Manage banking relationships, cash flow forecasting, and treasury functions.

Oversee bank wires, transfers, and multi-account fund movement.
Process Improvement & Strategic Projects

Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in accounting systems and workflows.

Investigate unusual or complex transactions and present findings to leadership.

Serve as a key partner across departments, contributing insights for business decisions.
What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Active CPA license required.

At least 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.

Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.

Demonstrated success managing audits, tax readiness, and treasury operations.

A natural mentor with a passion for developing others and creating team unity.

Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

Industry experience in creative services, technology, or entertainment is a bonus.
