Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller to oversee the financial function of our organization. As a key member of the leadership team, the Controller will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy, supporting business growth, and contributing to overall operational excellence. This is a hands-on, on-site role with broad responsibility across accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and human resources.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, A/P, A/R, payroll, and financial reporting

Oversee and continuously improve the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making

Develop annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with leadership

Support long-term financial planning and scenario modeling as part of the FP&A function

Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements

Manage and oversee HR function, including employee benefits, payroll compliance, and personnel policies

Partner with department heads to understand and influence operational and financial performance

Provide financial leadership in capital investment decisions and cost optimization efforts

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the finance and HR teams

Serve as a mentor and leader to a growing finance and administrative team
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including prior leadership experience

Experience in a distribution, construction, or manufacturing-related industry strongly preferred

Strong working knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, and forecasting

Proven experience overseeing HR and/or FP&A functions is a plus

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

A strategic thinker who is also detail-oriented and hands-on
