Proposed Time: 3-4 month contract position
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 4 year’s of accounting experience
- Analytical experience
- Financial Statement Production Assistance
- Proficient in excel: pivot tables, power queries
- Public Accounting Experience
- ERP experience is a plus
Job Description
This position will be a part of the accounting department. The successful individual will assist current accounting leadership with isolating financial statement anomalies and present correcting transactions. The ability to produce financial statements and roll down to transaction level accounting is highly desired. This position will also assist with creating journal entries and sending entries to internal departments for corrections. Public accounting experience highly desired. Specific tasks include:
- Run reports to audit various transactions within Foundation policies, workflow, and GASB requirements.
- Review and manage expense policy updates
- Produce internal audit results for transaction testing.
- Present and record correcting entries as needed.
- Intercompany transaction analysis to identify correcting entries.
- Liaise with multiple departments in accounting and the Foundation.
- Maintain documentation and perform adhoc reporting.
- Other duties or special projects as assigned.
Pay is up to $43 per hour.
