We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Collections Specialist to join our team in Orlando, FL. This role is ideal for a professional with at least three years of experience in law firm collections or collection work within a professional services environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional customer service, effective communication, and solid organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor client accounts to identify outstanding debts and follow up on overdue payments.

• Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and negotiate payment plans.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

• Utilize ARCS Collections software and Microsoft Office applications to process payments and track account statuses.

• Prepare detailed reports on collection activities, account balances, and payment status updates.

• Ensure adherence to Florida collections law and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

• Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a law firm or professional services collections role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Experience with ARCS Collections software is a plus.

• In-depth knowledge of Florida collections law and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
