*CONTRACT TO HIRE OPPORTUNITY*
*Our partner is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager*
This is one of Florida’s most trusted manufacturing companies, spanning multiple locations. We know we are nothing without our team of talented, motivated individuals.
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
In office, Leesburg Fl.
$24-27/hour
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (including education and certifications):
• Minimum two years previous experience in an accounting/office environment
• Must have QuickBooks experience
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Review contracts and related paperwork for completeness and accuracy
• Ensure all files are in order, all required signatures and initials are completed
• Contract scanning into electronic filing/storage system
CUSTOMER SERVICE/OFFICE DUTIES
• Purchasing office supplies, arranging UPS/Fed-Ex shipments occasionally/as needed for packages under 100lbs
• Answering phone calls and emails from customers inquiring about their payments, contracts, etc.
• Answering phone as needed.
BOOKKEEPING
• QuickBooks experience (general bookkeeping skills) (competent with willingness/ability to learn – expert level not necessary)
• Will be trained to assist with month end close, revenue/sales accounting entries, bank reconciliations, etc.
• May need to assist with payables
GENERAL SKILLS
• Must be detailed oriented, a logical thinker (“if this, then do that” type of thing), organized, able to easily retain/recall information
• Must work well with others, be comfortable with an open office setting, be calm and even tempered
• Work pace should generally be energetic and efficient
• Must be willing to learn new job skills/new tasks if/when necessary
