Administrative Assistant with record keeping experience needed for a small office located in the College Park area.

Skills and experience needed for the role include:

Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook

At least 5 years of experience in an office support role

Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures – coding and entering bills, posting checks

Experienced and able to manage data in Excel

Comfortable working in a small, quiet office

Basic knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred

Duties:

Assist with answering the phone and greeting visitors

Maintain the office calendar/schedules

Responsible for sending out bills, plus receiving and entering incoming checks

Keep track of hours worked by subcontractors

Keep track of fixed costs related to projects

Starting pay rate is $17.50/hour

The company is open on hours for the work week - any amount between 34 and 40 hours a week.
