Job Description
Location: Winter Park, FL
Compensation: $55,000 – $60,000
Tews Company has been retained by a prestigious Winter Park financial advisory firm renowned for delivering tailored financial solutions to ultra-high-net-worth clients. With a commitment to excellence, integrity, and exceptional client service, our client is seeking a polished and professional Front Desk Administrative Assistant to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a professional environment and enjoys supporting both administrative and light accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact, greeting clients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor.

Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring timely routing to the appropriate team members.

Maintain the front office environment to ensure it remains organized, welcoming, and presentable at all times.

Perform general office duties, including filing, document management, and mail handling.

Assist with event planning and coordination of meetings and appointments.

Support light accounting tasks:
-
Process A/P by entering approximately 5 invoices weekly into QuickBooks.

Record A/R deposits and calculate associated fees.

Assist with coding and simple reconciliations.

Conduct mail merges and manage intermediate functions in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Monitor and maintain kitchen cleanliness and stock fridge and supplies as needed.

Handle confidential client and firm information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.

Collaborate closely with the team to enhance client experiences and ensure smooth office operations.
Qualifications

Proven experience in a front desk, administrative, or office support role, ideally within financial services or professional environments.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, including mail merge functionality.

Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and personable demeanor.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.

High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

A polished, business-casual presentation and professional presence.

Comfortable performing traditional office hours and flexible to support additional tasks as needed.
Additional Details

Hours are flexible: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch, or 8:30 am – 5:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch.

Early release on Fridays at 4:30 pm is likely once established in the role.
