Job Title: Senior Reinsurance Treaty Specialist
Location: Remote (Orlando-based company)
Travel: Up to 5%
Salary: $80,000–$85,000 annually + 5% bonus
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Reinsurance Treaty Specialist to join our dynamic and collaborative insurance team. This fully remote position plays a critical role in the drafting, analysis, and management of reinsurance treaties and related legal documentation. You will be instrumental in ensuring our treaty documentation is accurate, compliant, and readily accessible to key internal stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional with strong organizational and communication skills, legal document review experience, and a curiosity-driven mindset. While reinsurance experience is ideal, it is not required.
Key Responsibilities

Draft and analyze reinsurance treaties, amendments, and treaty-related documents to ensure alignment with corporate, industry, and regulatory standards.

Work with both assumed and retrocession (retro) treaties.

Maintain the Treaty Provision Database, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates based on new treaties and amendments.

Oversee content and organization of the Treaty SharePoint site, I/M drive, and Q drive folders to provide users with the most current treaty information.

Develop, maintain, and distribute regular treaty management reports to internal stakeholders; run ad-hoc reports as needed.

Respond to external audit requests regarding treaty confirmations with accuracy and efficiency.

Support departmental and cross-functional projects by contributing data and assisting in resource allocation and tracking.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience in the insurance industry is required; reinsurance experience is a plus.

Proven ability to draft and review legal contracts is essential.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while contributing to a team-oriented, collaborative culture.
