Accounts Receivable Coordinator Needed for Christian Private School in Orlando!
Location: Orlando, FL (Fully Onsite)
Pay: $26–$30/hour with a robust benefits package
Schedule: Full-Time, 12-Month Position
Tews Company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator for a private Christian school in Orlando. This role is responsible for managing tuition accounts, processing payments, and overseeing Florida state scholarship administration. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage student tuition accounts using FACTS Financial software, ensuring accurate billing, collections, and reconciliations.
- Oversee Florida state scholarships, particularly Step Up For Students, ensuring compliance with guidelines and reporting requirements.
- Process and reconcile payments, including credit card transactions and bank deposits.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for families regarding tuition and scholarship inquiries.
- Prepare accounts receivable documentation for audits and reporting.
- Assist the Senior Director of Finance with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable functions.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Excel; experience with MIP/Abila and FACTS Financial is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required (Accounting or Finance preferred).
- 2-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
- Experience with Florida state scholarship administration preferred.
- A committed Christian faith and ability to uphold the values of a faith-based school environment.
