Accounts Payable Coordinator Needed For Growing Construction Company!
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Fully Onsite)
Pay: $60,000–$65,000 + Bonus

About the Role
Our client, a well-established and growing construction company in Fort Lauderdale, is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their team. This role is responsible for processing invoices, payments, and maintaining vendor compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a problem solver, and a strong team player with a customer service mindset.
Key Responsibilities

Review and process invoices, ensuring accurate coding, approvals, and tax compliance

Manage payment schedules, ensuring vendors and subcontractors are paid on time

Audit credit card statements for accuracy and required documentation

Maintain and update subcontractor compliance records, including contracts and insurance

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with project accountants

Extract and analyze accounts payable data to generate reports

Research outstanding checks and assist with financial reconciliations

Support general accounts payable operations and assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications
-
Experience in accounts payable within the construction industry

Knowledge of 1099 processing and sales tax accruals

Familiarity with CMiC accounting software (training provided)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate in a team environment
