Job Description
An Office Supply Company in Altamonte Springs is looking for an AP/Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team. Central Florida Candidates Only!
M-F 8:00 - 5:00. Hybrid (Work from home 2-3 days a week) schedule after first few months.
This is an immediate opening!
Pay Rate: $20 - $22/hr
Position Summary:
- Receive and distribute vendor invoices
- Reconcile Vendor Invoices to purchase orders & customer invoices
- Prepare Vendor Invoices for Payment
- Pay Vendors by Check and ACH
- Enter company credit card charges
- Setup and Maintain Vendor accounts, including Credit Applications
- Review Vendor Statements
- Research issues with vendor payments
- Ensure proper period posting for vendor goods
- Assist with accounting phone lines and email
- Provide customer service by answering questions, sending requested documents, taking phone payments, etc
- Assist other team members in order to meet deadlines
Requirements for the position:
- 1+ years of AP Experience
- Attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks at the same time
- Strong data entry skills
- Analytical Skills
