Construction Industry | In-Office | Full-Time

Our construction partner is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist who is looking to build a long-term career within a stable, growing organization. This is an in-office role supporting a collaborative accounting team and working closely with project and operations stakeholders.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Pay: $25/hour
Location: In Office

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a dependable, detail-oriented AR professional with a solid employment track record who takes pride in accuracy, follow-through, and relationship management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience (construction industry strongly preferred)

• Strong understanding of construction billing, including job/project numbers and high-volume invoicing

• Experience with outbound collections and professional customer communication

• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word (SAP experience is a plus)

• History of job stability and commitment to long-term roles

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage client and project-based billing, ensuring invoices are applied accurately

• Conduct collections via phone and email for assigned accounts

• Prepare A/R aging reports and reconcile daily deposits

• Process Notices to Owner, liens, sworn statements, and lien releases

• Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer requests for invoices, statements, and supporting documentation

• Assist with credit applications and provide support on additional accounting tasks as needed
