Assistant Controller With Leading Healthcare Provider Needed!
Location: Orlando, FL (Fully Onsite)
Pay: $125K–$130K

Tews Company is proud to partner with a well-established national healthcare organization in their search for an Assistant Controller to join their team at the Orlando headquarters. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance and accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow their career with a mission-driven company.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee and support daily accounting operations and month-end close processes.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

• Partner with leadership on financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.

• Provide detailed variance analysis and recommend improvements for efficiencies.

• Mentor and support accounting team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Assist with audits, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA a plus).

• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with leadership responsibilities.

• Strong background in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.

• Healthcare industry experience preferred.

• Advanced Excel and ERP systems proficiency.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
