Cash Application Specialist – Long-Term Contract
Location: North Orlando
Pay Rate: Up to $21/hour
Our client is expanding their finance team.
Schedule
-
Shift Options: Monday–Friday | 6am–3pm, 7am–4pm, 8am–5pm, or 9am–6pm (1-hour lunch)

Hybrid Schedule: In-office Tuesday–Thursday after training.
Minimum Requirements
-
Background in banking, medical billing, accounting, or finance
-
High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred

Excellent customer service and communication skills
-
Strong 10-Key Data Entry skills (must score 9,000+)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
-
Cash application or Accounts Receivable experience
-
Experience with ERP systems (Eclipse preferred) and OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
What You’ll Do
-
Process customer payments via bank lockbox, electronic payments, and branch deposits
-
Utilize OCR and workflow technologies for efficient processing
-
Reconcile General Ledger Accounts and ensure transaction accuracy

Research and resolve payment exceptions

Review and complete daily Cash Application reports

Communicate with internal teams for issue resolution
