Payroll & Accounting Specialist (Contract)

Overview
A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Accounting Specialist to support payroll operations and employee expense processing. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely reimbursements while partnering across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process employee expense reports in compliance with company policies
- Ensure accurate and timely reimbursements
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Support payroll-related tasks as assigned
- Assist employees with expense-related questions
- Prioritize high-volume workflows and meet deadlines
- Support audits, reporting, and additional accounting functions
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll experience
- Advanced Excel skills; strong Microsoft Office proficiency
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Quick learner with new systems and tools
