*CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY*

*Our hospitality partner is seeking a DIRECTOR OF ARCHITECTURAL INTERIOR DESIGN!*

HYBRID with 35% travel (U.S., Canada, Mexico & the Caribbean)
MUST HAVE PASSPORT


$68-$72/hour, depending on experience


Contract Length: 5 months

You are:
  • Experience: 12+ years in hospitality Interior Design/Architecture, including leadership in new construction and renovations.

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Leadership & Decision-Making: Strategic thinker with strong project oversight and consultant management experience.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and project management tools (Procore preferred).

  • Construction & Design Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction codes, life safety regulations, and project delivery from concept to closeout.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong written, verbal, and negotiation skills with a team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and execution of renovations, new developments, and capital projects across multiple resorts. Oversee cross-functional teams, ensuring projects align with company standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Project Oversight: Manage third-party architects, engineers, and designers, ensuring budgets, timelines, and design intent are met.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop project schedules and ensure coordination across internal and external teams.

  • Review & Compliance: Oversee design documents, technical drawings, and vendor bids for quality and compliance.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver detailed project updates to internal teams and leadership.

  • Construction Administration: Act as the primary owner’s representative, ensuring execution aligns with specifications.

  • Project Closeout: Oversee final documentation, warranties, and handover to operations.
