REMOTE CONTRACT-TO-HIRE OPPORTUNITY!

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Patient Accounting Supervisor to lead a dynamic team of revenue cycle professionals.


Location: Fully Remote but must be within 2 hours of Orlando for meetings and events as needed!

Pay: Up to $33/hour, depending on experience

Minimum Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
    • In lieu of degree, 3+ years of revenue cycle experience in medical billing, collections, or managed care accepted.
  • 6+ months of hands-on EPIC experience (hard requirement).
  • 2+ years of supervisory, team lead, or preceptor experience in a revenue cycle setting.
    • Preceptor roles must have included analytical or performance oversight responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to adapt style to various team dynamics.
  • Working knowledge of hospital AR management and revenue cycle workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily operations for patient accounting team members, including specialists, cash receipts analysts, leads, and insurance collections analysts.
  • Oversee staffing schedules, workload assignments, and performance monitoring to ensure productivity and accuracy in AR resolution.
  • Serve as a liaison between revenue management departments to promote cross-functional efficiency.
  • Lead recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training for new hires.
  • Conduct routine team huddles and one-on-one meetings; deliver feedback through regular coaching and performance evaluations.
  • Analyze payer issues preventing AR resolution and escalate patterns or concerns to management.
  • Maintain team accountability for attendance, productivity, and quality standards.
  • Deliver team performance reports and assist in budget compliance and variance justification.
  • Support departmental goal-setting initiatives and foster a culture of professional development and motivation.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and data analytics supporting team and department performance.
  • Address and resolve internal and external inquiries, including patient and interdepartmental concerns.
