You are:
 
Requirement & Qualifications:
 
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience 
  • Solid understanding of indirect tax principles and US GAAP rules
  • Ability to interpret the company's books and records and transactional accounting
  • Ability to research, understand and document complex and technical tax matters
  • Experience with Oracle, Alteryx, OneSource Tax Calendar, Power BI, and Bloomberg Tax Research Library preferred
  • Experience with the hospitality industry taxation is a plus 


What will you do?

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Preparing and reconciling tax workpapers and journal entries in Oracle

  • Managing tax-exempt transaction documentation and responding to tax notices

  • Utilizing state websites for tax filings and ensuring compliance with tax laws

  • Maintaining a tax calendar and assisting with audits, research, and special projects

  • Identifying process improvements and supporting various tax-related initiatives
