Remote following training period

 

Estimated Contract Length: through December 2023
 

$23/hour 

 

You are:

  • High School Diploma (college degree preferred) or job experience equivalency
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Must demonstrate above-average initiative, self-reliance and autonomy, with the judgment to know when to take the lead and when to involve others to ensure client satisfaction
  • Ability to effectively translate client requirements to team members
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to be an effective team member
  • Must be able to work outside of normal work hours
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills

What you will do?

The purpose of the Benefit Coach is to partner with the renewal team in the open enrollment process to work closely with key decision makers to evaluate client needs in order to define, develop and execute open enrollment plans, as well as troubleshoot final system set-ups and provide training. The Benefit Coach will leverage technical experience, as well as outstanding problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate must be able to take responsibility and accept accountability for customer engagements. This is a highly technical role that requires deep knowledge of the company's platform and product offerings.

Essential Job Functions:

As a Benefit Coach you will be expected to perform the following duties:

  • In partnership with the Renewal Project Coordinator, establish a relationship with the employer group and broker contacts as the technical SME for the project.
  • Perform detailed evaluation of Guided Renewal Tool with client and internal projects teams.
  • Review all required supporting documentation from employer group or broker pertaining to renewal; gather any clarifying details as needed to facilitate a successful open enrollment.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and customer objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Participate in weekly client calls pertaining to configuration, testing, and other SME-related agenda items.
  • Manage product and technology expectations with customers, including managing out-of-scope custom requests to fulfill client needs falling outside of delivered functionality.
  • Provide detailed instructions to project Configuration Analyst to facilitate a system build that achieves the client goals while leveraging best practices.
  • Coordinate system-build efforts across product lines to ensure best client experience.
  • Answer technical questions relating to the project for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review and facilitate resolution of any identified functionality issues.
  • Perform configuration QA audits to confirm accuracy of system build and completeness based on client specific requirements and goals.
  • In partnership with the Renewal Project Coordinator, support the flow/timeline of the implementation to the established deadlines and escalate when necessary.
  • Support the EDI function with configuration changes as required for electronic interfaces requested by the employer group.
  • Resolve employer group data discrepancies and validation report errors with client and Configuration Analyst.
  • Regularly meet with internal departments to review feature requirements, current issues, and plans to improve product and processes to meet market demands.
  • Complete job-related training courses and/or seminars, as required and/or assigned.
  • All other duties as deemed necessary by management, including support of projects in other workflows as capacity demands.
