Job Description
Leading Manufacturer in the aerospace industry has an immediate opening for a Controller to join their team. Salary between $100,000 - $150,000 based on experience.
Job Summary:
This role will control the accounting and finance functions for the organization. He/she will lead the accounting team to ensure accuracy and that the department is operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to analyze large amounts of data.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to analyze large amounts of data.
Essential Job Functions:
- Analyze financial data and present financial reports to the executive team in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenditures
- Guide financial business decisions and provide financial information to support business execution
- Manage organizational cash flow
- Manage and track the performance of invested assets
- Coordinate all audit engagements with external auditors
- Coordinate tax preparation with external accountants
- Lead the operations of the accounting department to include accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll
- Recruit, train and motivate the accounting team
- Responsible for ensuring the company books and records are captured accurately
- Oversee the closing of the company’s books and ensure regulatory compliance
- Responsible for all company needs for adequate insurance coverage, health, life, and property
- Provide support and assist other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business
- Provide accurate and correct cost accounting
- Ability to analyze, explain, and solve problems with minimal or no direction
- Proven ability to perform with a high level of efficiency and precision
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to keep sensitive information highly confidential
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
- Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience required; public accounting preferred
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office required
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Experience with Infor Cloud Suite or similar preferred
