ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST Needed for Leading Hospitality Organization
HYBRID!
$24-$25/hour
Estimated Contract Length: 3 months
You are:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in professional accounting, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of AP shared services policies, internal controls, and payment methods (Wire, ACH, V-Card, Checks).
- Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
- Experience with PeopleSoft and Oracle eBS.
- Generate and disburse payment files (ACH, V-Card, checks), ensuring proper handling.
- Resolve pricing discrepancies with Procurement.
- Maintain SOPs and support process improvement initiatives.
- Enforce internal controls and SOX compliance; report discrepancies.
- Research and resolve AP issues; respond to help desk inquiries.
- Support audits and maintain confidentiality.
- Assist with monthly and year-end close procedures in PeopleSoft and Oracle.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners.
